Private Lake House Retreat

You will love this lake house retreat. This beautiful 3 bed 2 bath house is hidden on a quiet dead end street. The views from the dining room and back deck are breath taking. We offer access to 3 docks on the bayside of the street with the public boat launch just a half mile away. The newly constructed 4 lane bridge is also a half mile away and offers a walking and biking trail that will take you over to the Land Between The Lakes National Park.

This house will comfortably sleep 7 people. All the furniture is new and the house has been cleaned and repainted throughout.

FAQs:

No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet. NO MORE THAN 25LBS EACH.

– There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.

-Free wifi is provided

-ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.

-The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs.

-There is a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

-The neighborhood is located on a dead end street and is usually very quiet.

-Our neighbors’ kids play in the street so please drive with caution.

-The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.

-The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.

-The water is gently sloping and you can swim from the shore.

-The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.

-You can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply.

-You can use my covered dock at the end of the street.

Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy.

I have 3 yellow Labradors (dogs) that stay on my lot. NONE of the 3 are allowed to leave the property. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not take them on the boat with you without letting me know. If you tell them NO and mean it they will listen to you.

We have pontoon boats available for rent onsite. Boats are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance. The 10 passenger boats rent for $300 daily and includes all fuel filled onsite.The 15 passenger boats rent for $350.00 daily and includes one tank of fuel. I always ask that you pay for the boats in cash once you arrive. The boats are always docked at our COVERED dock. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from 8am until 30mins prior to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing and emergence personnel will be notified.

No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. No half day rentals. (seasonal april-september)

I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city.
