You will love this 2014 newly constructed custom built home! We are located less than one mile from US highway 68/80…on a dead end street…making it a very quiet and relaxing location!

As you can see in the pictures, this home features two bedrooms both with private baths. One bedroom has a queen sized bed while the other bedroom has a full bed. The upstairs loft will sleep 3 with a full and twin sized bed. The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances and is stocked with the basic necessitates to make your stay as relaxing as possible. There is a screened in back porch for your bug-free enjoyment. We will soon be constructing another deck for additional seating, grilling and much more.(deck completed 2016) My wife and I live at the end of the street and you are always welcome to stroll down 3 houses and use our entire peninsula lot! This cottage is not allowed a dock on the main channel but you are welcome to use our dock, its just a 3 min walk down to our lot.  Also, free Wifi for your convenience. On a chilly day, you can snuggle up on the couch and enjoy the gas log fireplace. Included in your stay is a 6 person pass to The Fitness Center at Lake Barkley State Park. The Fitness Center features; indoor pool, sauna, steam room, racquetball, free weights, Nautilus machines, outdoor basketball, outdoor tennis, daily aerobic classes, and much much more.

This house will be most comfortable with 5 or less people. 8 guests is our maximum.

All I need to to reserve your stay today is the damage deposit. The damage deposit is $300.00 is fully refundable and can be paid online through VRBO.

The balance must be paid in full NO LATER than 2 weeks before you arrive. I do understand you get busy and sometimes forget… no problem but if you choose to pay when you arrive you must let me know in advance!

Preferred payment method is by echeck online.

No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet.

A 5 person pass to the Lake Barkley State Park fitness center is provided. Pool and hot tub are located at the finest center.

-There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.

-ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.

-The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs. We recommend bringing your own cooking spices and any type of storage for your food you might need.

-There is a full-size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

-The neighborhood is located on a dead-end street and is usually very quiet.

-The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.

-The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.

-The steps on the deck will lead you all the way to the shoreline.

-The water is gently sloping, and you can swim from the shore.

-The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.

-Yes, you can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply.

-You can use any of the docks on the bayside at the end of the street.

-Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy. (NO NIGHT TIME USE)

• We have pontoon boats available for rent onsite. Boats are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance. The 10 passenger boats rent for $350.00 daily and includes one tank of fuel. The 15 passenger boats rent for $400.00 daily and includes one tank of fuel. I always ask that you pay for the boats in cash once you arrive. The boats are always docked at our COVERED dock. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from sunrise to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing, and emergency personnel will be notified.

• No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve, we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. No half day rentals. An additional $500 deposit will be held for the pontoon. If a card is used the deposit will never show on the card unless damage is done. (seasonal April-September)

I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city.
